Ordinary Day, by Great Big Sea
“I’ve got a smile on my face and four walls around me.”
*Hint: 4 walls = a home
“And, I say, ‘Way, hey, hey! It’s just an ordinary day.
And it’s all your state of mind.
At the end of the day,
You’ve just got to say, ‘it’s alright’.”

"Ordinary Day"
I've got a smile on my face, and I've got four walls around me
I’ve got the sun in the sky, the water surrounds me
I'll win now, but sometimes I'll lose
I've been battered, but I'll never bruise, it's not so bad
[Chorus]
And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day
and it's all your state of mind
At the end of the day, you've just got to say,
it's all right.
Jeanie sings on the corner, what keeps her from dying
Let them say what they want, she won't stop trying
She might stumble, if they push her 'round
She might fall, but she'll never lie down
It’s not so bad….
[Chorus]
And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day
and it's all your state of mind
At the end of the day, you've just got to say,
it's all right.
it's all right.
it's all right.
it's all right.
In this beautiful life, there's always some sorrow
And it's a double edged knife, but there's always tomorrow, you know.
It's up to you now if you sink or swim,
Just keep the faith that your ship will come in, it's not so bad.
[Chorus]
And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day
and it's all your state of mind
At the end of the day, you've just got to say,
And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day
and it's all your state of mind
At the end of the day, you've just got to say,
it's all right.
it's all right.
it's all right.
‘Cause I've got a smile on my face, and I've got four walls around me

Who Says You Can't Go Home by Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles -
I’ve spent 20 years tryin’ to get out of this place
I was lookin’ for somethin’ I couldn't replace
I was runnin’ away from the only thing I've ever known
Like a blind dog without a bone
I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone
I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold
I’ve been there, done that and I aint lookin’ back on the seeds I’ve sown.
saving dimes, spending too much time on the telephone....
who says you can’t go home
Chorus:
who says you can’t go home
there’s only one place they call you one of their own
Just a hometown boy born a rolling stone
who says you can’t go home
who says you can’t go back; been all around the world
and that's a matter of fact
there’s only one place left I wanna go
who says you can’t go home
it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
I went as far as I could tryin’ to find a new face
There isn’t one of these lines that I would erase
I left a million miles of memories on that road
every step I take, I know that I’m not alone
You can take the home from the boy, but not the boy from his home
these are my streets, an' the only life I’ve ever known
Who says you can't go home
Chorus:
who says you can’t go home
there’s only one place they call you one of their own
just a hometown boy born a rolling stone
who says you can't go home
who says you can’t go back; been all around the world
and that's a matter of fact
there’s only one place left I wanna go
who says you can’t go home
Guitar(solo)
Doesn’t matter where you are
Doesn’t matter where you go
If it’s a million miles away
or just a mile up the road
take it in, take it with you when you go
who says you can't go home
Chorus:
who says you can't go back
been all around the world
and that's a matter of fact
there’s only one place left I wanna go
who says you can’t go home
it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
who says you can’t go home
it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
who says you can’t go home
it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
Who says you can’t go home!
* wanna = want to
GOOD LUCK!
